Living is a thing you do now or never and we have made a conscious decision to embrace what matters to us most. So we are packing up our house, simplifying our lives, escaping the hustle and bustle of modern suburban life and hitting the road to travel Australia in a Caravan!
Our kids are growing up fast and we want to enjoy them and believe that creating memories together is the most important thing. This lifestyle will allow us to swim in the ocean daily, chase the sun, be sandy and sun-kissed, have campfires, go fishing and generally slow ourselves down to enjoy these simple things together.
We are passionate about nature and the environment and aim to unplug from modern technology as much as possible to provide a hands-on learning environment for our children as well as inspire other families to travel.
10 years ago we embarked on an epic adventure around Australia as a couple in a tiny campervan. Fast forward 10 years, we are now married with two kids and still feel a pull to hit the road, travel and break away from the norm!
We have partnered with Jayco Australia for this amazing adventure who are providing us with our awesome custom built ‘home on wheels’. Join us on this epic adventure as we share our travels with you via this blog page, our Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Youtube accounts. With just over 3 months of preparation time, we have so much to do!! We can’t wait to hit the road in October 2017 and share our adventures with you.
We have loads going on behind the scenes and will share more details and exciting info when we can… but until then, we would love you to send us your ‘must see’ places and local travel tips to our email theblondenomads@outlook.com or via our social accounts.
We hope to inspire you to get out more in nature, take the time to appreciate the small things and if you want to travel – do it now, stop putting it off and don’t wait until retirement or when the kids are older.

Hi Tracy, I’ve been following your travels recently and just wanted to pop in to say hello and happy travels.
You guys are braver than I, but I’m intrigued about the big lap with kids in a caravan.

Hi Tracy, I have just subscribed to your page. I volunteer t the dolphin discovery centre in Bunbury wa, and we get lots of young families traveling just like your selves. Wonderfull to see. My questions are ,how long have you been on the road, and how do you finance it. Did you keep your home?
So I can encourage others to do the same. My husband and I did it the late 60s, before kids and have been doing short trips ever since, but would love to just get out and do it again no strings attached .
Happy Travelling
Jude

it can be different experience and can be enjoyable to live in caravan. When your child is small it can be exciting also. Being in nature helps them to grow up better. I like your idea. I can also try this experience.Travelling in caravan can be affordable too. You don’t need to look for where to stay. Thanks for sharing
