Ahh, there is nothing better than heading outdoors for a camping adventure. To make life easier for you, we have created this FREE printable Camping Checklist to help you pack.
Following years of camping adventures, individually and as a family, we have learnt (perhaps through the hard way) that a little preparation is key to any successful adventure. Having the right supplies and equipment can make a huge difference in everyones overall enjoyment and experience.
Before you go, we recommend taking the time to consider things like – the weather, your planned activities, campsite amenities and the length of your stay. This will influence the kind of gear you need to bring, as well any extra preparation you might have to do. But with all this in mind, keep reminding yourself to keep it simple as possible. It may seem daunting leaving behind all of your homely comforts, especially if you have younger kids, but just focus on the essential items and what’s on the checklist and you will be surprised at how much you can get by without.

Loved this post! I’m planning a road trip across the US and your checklist is super helpful. I especially appreciate the tip about checking the campsite reservation policy in advance – I would’ve probably forgotten to do that otherwise! Thanks for sharing your expertise
