I can see a little flame ignite inside my two children – Marli 7, and Ziggy 4, whenever we head outside for an adventure. There’s something about the fresh air, the freedom of movement and wanderlust that fills them with energy. Wherever we are, I take the time to point out the differences our environment as we explore, asking the kids what they see, feel, hear and smell as we ‘try’ to stand in silence and take in the magic around us.
One of our favourite activities to do while outside is hunt for treasures and spot insects and beetles.
To help ignite that little flame in your mini adventurers we’ve created this Nature Hunt discovery sheet for you to enjoy too – Simply click here to download the printable.
Don’t forget to share your hunts with us by tagging @theblondenomads on your posts and stories – we’d love to see you enjoying the great outdoors with your tribe!
